This work was done on Kilimanjaro 300 lb paper and involved the initial use of fragments of cheese cloth prior to beginning the application of paint. The painting went through many changes as it slowly developed to the point where I could see how things should go (balance, movement, and careful use of color, etc.). The moment came when the work was, in my opinion, finally completed and its title came to me very quickly….a stream gathering water from melting ice.
